Child Care ExperienceI have worked in the early education field for over 15 years and absolutely love what I do. I find my position to be extremely rewarding and love being a part of each child’s growth and development.   I enjoy continuing my education through child development trainings and classes, and learning about the most recent child development discoveries.  It is a wonderful field, and has brought me much happiness over the years.

Favorite Activities to Do With the Kids: I LOVE taking walks on the Sandy Hook bike path with all of the kids.  I also love playing hide and seek, having dance parties, and singing silly songs.  Another one of my favorites is our lunchtime discussions.  I love hearing the children talk about their day, their weekend, their favorite places to go, and all sorts of fun stories

Why I Love Sandy Hook Child Care Center: I love Sandy Hook Child Care Center because it is just such a special little school.  It truly is a hidden gem, surrounded by all the beauties of Sandy Hook.  It is so small and intimate, it feels like a second to home to all of us.  It is a wonderful little school, I couldn’t imagine teaching anywhere else.

Child Care ExperienceI started babysitting when I was 12 years old and also worked with special needs children while in high school. I started working at Sandy Hook Child Care 5 years ago and have learned an incredible amount in these 5 years.  Through continued education, trainings, and hands on experience, I have learned so much about the Early Childhood field and feel I have really grown as a teacher.

Favorite Activities to Do With the Kids: I always like playing tag outside in our yard and going to the beach. I also like going for walks on the bike trail and coming up with fun games to play on our adventures.

Why I Love Sandy Hook Child Care Center: I love how small the school is. Each kid gets their own kind of love and attention. I love how homey the school is and how close the staff and families are.

Child Care ExperienceI started babysitting when I was about thirteen. Since then I knew I wanted to work with kids. Working with kids is great because I get to be a part of their day to day routine, I get to watch them learn and grow. Being a part of a child’s learning process and seeing them develop over the years is a wonderful feeling, and I wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Favorite Activities to Do With the Kids: I love to play outside in the yard with the kids. I love taking the pretend boat to New York, and going fishing in the ocean. I love to play tag, and the monster game. I also enjoy reading stories to the kids and doing art projects.

Why I Love Sandy Hook Child Care Center: I love Sandy Hook Child Care Center because it’s a wonderful little school. The location of the school is also very special, it’s out in the middle of a beautiful place. The kids and parents are so awesome. Sandy Hook is definitely a second home to me, and I am happy to be part of such a special family.
